01 — The Challenge

KornerStone Capital needed a brand that projected institutional credibility while remaining approachable to founder-led companies. The existing identity was generic — indistinguishable from hundreds of other capital firms. They needed to stand out in competitive deal flow without looking like they were trying too hard.

Our Approach

We anchored the brand in architectural permanence — the cornerstone as both literal and metaphorical foundation. The pyramid logomark, rendered in brushed silver, conveys stability and upward trajectory. The visual system pairs deep navy with classical photography, serif typography for headlines, and clean sans-serif for data. Every touchpoint says: we're here for the long term.

KornerStone launched its new identity across investor relations, deal documentation, and digital presence. The rebrand has been credited with improving first-impression credibility in founder meetings and LP presentations.
